Hi peeps,

Looking for some advice on a sound card + headset.

I am looking for Quality Gaming only, iv had many usb headsets and im finally fed-up with the buzzing.

I don't really have a budget but under €300 would be better, any advice I get confused with headsets with millions of jacks and then soundcards with 7 jacks or headsets with only 2 (mic and speaker) with soundcard with 5 jacks :??:

Basically I have no idea about sound one thing I do know is apparently you cant call your self extreme gamers until you have quality sound.

Requirements:

Gaming (want to know where those shots are coming from aka games like Arma 3)
NO USB (no usb soundcard fed up with buzzing and hearing mouse movement)
Budget est €300.

Most gamers have come to the conclusion that a sound card is a waste of money since the sound improvement (for gaming) is negligible.
You say you use USB headsets? Is this because they are wireless headphones? I have wireless headphones as well and I can't stand the background noise either because of all the interference.

I tend to stick to headphones using normal minijack sticks. If you get a good quality headset (and you definitely can for 300 euros) you should be fine. That is just my 2 cents of course.
