So i have AMD FX-8350 and i cant find the recommended temps for it some people says 62c some say above that no matter what i try to keep my below 60C i have OC'ed it this is how it looks like

i OC'ed it to 4.6 with 1.381V On Vcore

DIGI+ setup is next:

CPU Load line: Ultra high
CPU/NB: Extreme
CPU Current: 120%
CPU/NB Current: 130%
CPU Power phase: Extreme

i use M5A99FX PRO R2.0 this are the temps using AMD Overdrive stress test:

Socket: 73c (while stress test) gaming 60c
Mobo chipset: 30c
CPU: just over 61c (while stress test) gaming is 3-4c less sometimes when its really hot in room 60.5c was max

My PSU: Seasonic M12II EVO 620W

So what are the recommended temps for this CPU i saw on AMDs site there is rec. max temp in spec. chart of the CPU but nothing is in the cart no numbers so im not sure who to listen i keep mine below 60c

i cant damage board using extreme presset? there is no whine-hissing from capacitors or anything on board everything is very cool and silent

If its a 20C day, then 35C idle is OK, and 45C gaming and 65C Prime95 testing.

That depends whether you're happy with those temps. You see while they are still within the manufacturers limits, many overclockers are not satisfied with having such temperatures. So you have 2 options:

A) Premium cooling solutions on the affected components
B) Tune down the OC until temps are okay again

Well anything below 62-65C is acceptable on heavy-full load. Your temps are fine, 60C while gaming (I'll assume they're heavily CPU intensive games) isn't too bad. 61C while on stress test isn't bad at all!
Room is really hot so those temps are in super-fine category!
Good temps there :)

Below 60, prefereably early 50's. More for high end GPU's, and definetely below 55 for all mobo components.

yes battlefield 4 and 3 gave me the highest temps while playing 60.5 as i said but when i turn on airconditioner it drops for 3c or more
played gta4 for an hour or so temps in room are probably 22-25c didnt turn on airconditioner yet temp are 58c max

thank you for reply :)

For AMD FX, with a good cooler (like yours), these would be my best bet (room temp 22-28C):

25-35C on idle. 0-10% usage

35-45C on medium gaming. 25-45%

45-55C on heavy gaming and medium to high rendering/ CPU intensive tasks. 50-70%

55-60C heavy rendering, 80%+ CPU usage.

60-65C stress tests like Prime95 with ~100% continous usage.

Well an OCed to 4.6GHz CPU will fit those gaming temps in normal, albeit on the higher side. High 50s is probably fine with CPU intensive games like BF, check your CPU usage at that time. Forget about the tasks I mentioned in my previous post, they're just common egs, match your CPU usage and temps.

CoreTemp says that an FX-8320's max do-not-exceed is 80C. I would imagine the FX-8350 would be similar, so you should be good.

58C with 75% load @ 4.6GHz is pretty good, don't worry the temps are totally fine!
PS: Don't forget to select a best answer :)
