i have a question about SSD's that i'm going to have in my build. Either

1. 1TB SSD (for os/games and such)
2. 1 240gb (OS/software) and 500gb (games and steam)

i can't seem to decide so here i am asking you guys.

(also this is my first build)

massive storage on the 1tb SSD and with 2 SSDs it would be better too organize i would think, what do you guys think i should do? (i could take the 240 and change it to a 120 if thats enough, im just worried i won't have enough space in the end.

Between the first and second option. It is a big difference in my opinion. The price and performance.

If you can afford the first one then go for it. It is much better. And yes that's a wise choice, split into two or do a partition for organisation.

That's a lot to spend for just an SSD. I would have gone with a 120GB SSD+ a 1TB HDD. It would have been 1/5 the price and you wouldn't run out of space.

If you can I would cancel the order and use the money saved towards a better graphics card/ other component of the system.

money isn't an issue. Also i have all the parts i just need a CPU now, that i will get the 10th next month, a i7 4790k :)

here is my build:

- CoolerMaster Storm Stryker Case
- i7 4790k
- GTX MSI 780 3gb Twin Frozr
- Asus Maximus VII Hero
- Corsair RM850 80+ Gold certified
- CoolerMaster V8 GTS
- Kingston HyperX Fury 16gb 1866mhZ
- 3TB Barracuda HDD
- 1TB SSD (on the way)

(the RM850, i think is overkill on this system but i like to expand later)

Still, for the price of that 1TB SSD you could have added another GTX 780 and sli'd them. That would be a huge step up compared to having a bigger SSD.

Also I would swap the Corsair PSU since the RM line isn't one of their "good" quality psus.

Here's a few that are solid and fairly priced.

also i could buy another 780 and SLI them later, no problem. :p  Also i have done research on everything i have bought and TechSyndicate on youtube recommended the RM850

I have seen lot's off reviews from LinusTechTips and TechSyndicate and i trust their opinions.

I'm guessing in their video they didn't mention the RM 850W uses cheap Chinese LTEC capacitors manufactured by Chicony.

I'm just saying for the price you can do better. For the same price you could get a top tier PSU rather than having an average tier three unit. Here's A PSU tier list for reference:

kk, will keep that in mind :)

All components are already bought (minus the CPU) also i have a friend of me that recently built a system with RM850 and he seem to like it. Not to argue here but i will keep that in mind and maybe try to trade it in for another one.
