GPU louder after using FurMark?

I just bought a brand spanking new GTX 780 Ti SC ATX edition GPU and ever since I bench marked it with FurMarks 15M 1920x1080 with 0xMSAA benchmark it seems to have made my GPU louder. Am I just paranoid? Is this actually possible?

Then no, shouldnt do.

Install MSI Afterburner and you can adjust the fan profile, if you want it quieter.
