Hi, I own a Logitech G9x Mouse and I was wondering- since I've seen lots of other mice (like those from Mad Catz) have this Red Round button called "Precision Mode" for shooters which lowers DPI via Hold-to-use, which makes your actions more "accurate" for a brief moment.

The regular DPI changing "-" and "+" are functioning but it seems really uncomfortable to use it while in an FPS game, especially for those important clutch moments, whereas the "Backward" and "Forward" buttons on the left side of my mouse seem like a perfect solution, but I just don't know how to do it myself.

Here's how I think of it: Have this function work only in a certain game/on-board profile (Counter Strike:GO) and make it the "Forward" button not the "Backward" one (aka the closest one to the left click). It will have to be a Hold-To-Use button so basically once i release my DPI goes back to its regular value (i use at 800DPI and when i was using mouse i think 400DPI would be perfect for precision mode)

Info:
Logitech Gaming Software is installed (but very little knowledge of how to use macros and assigning other complex functions)
Logitech G9x Mouse with On-Board Memory (I bet will have to switch to computer game detection tho or maybe create a second on-board profile which wud be optimal for me cause i dont really use any other settings for DPI or Polling, thus requiring me to just switch profiles when i run the game for example)
