I would open the side cover and look. Are the current disk drives connected by a wide ribbon cable or by a narrow cable? If it is narrow, then you definitely have SATA port(s). If wide you will need to look more closely at the motherboard. Google for a picture of a SATA motherboard port if you are unsure. Then check the motherboard. You may also have to buy a SATA cable and power supply adapter for newer disks.
