I was going to buy two front usb 3 ports (http://www.newegg.com/global/in/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16815579003) for my cabinet, which fit into my floppy slot. It has a parallel port plug, and I have a Parallel Port on my Mobo, so that part is sorted out. What I noticed, was that my mobo has 3 Front Port USB Slots (5+4 pin) next to the SATA ports. They are Front Port USB 1 (With Flash Drive Support), Front Port USB 2 and Front Port USB 3. My current cabinet has 2 front USB 2.0 ports, which are plugged into the Front Port USB 1 (With Flash Drive Support) slot.

If I plug in my current USB 2.0 Front Ports into the Front Port USB 2 port, will I receive better speeds/no support of flash drives.

Thank you.

You are making a huge number of mistaken assumptions.

Firstly, that device you link to has a USB 3.0 connector on the back end - it is intended to plug into a USB 3.0 header on the motherboard. It is also not Backward compatible to plug into a USB 2.0 header on the motherboard. If you do not have a USB 3.0 header on your motherboard, then you will have to buy an additional USB 3.0 PCI (or PCIe) card to provide the header.

USB 1.0 support has been so long ago, you probably don't have it (it would have been nice if you have provided your motherboard make/model). Most likely you have 3 numbered USB 2.x ports. Since they are all USB 20, there will be no observable speed difference.
