Hi, i have an HP 630 notebook with the following wifi card built-in:
Qualcomm Atheros AR9285 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter:

And I have the following router:
DLink DSL-2730U ADSL 2+ 4-Port Wireless N 802.11 b/g/n WiFi ADSL Router with WPA/WPA2 Auto security mode.

The problem is that, the network is sometimes visible and sometimes not, in my laptop. When it is visible and i try to connect, it shows 'cannot connect to this network'. The WiFi key which I have typed is 100% correct. After connection failure, the network is then not seen. I try to disable and enable the card a lot of times, after that the network is visible. And then again I try to connect, its a failure. what's going on? :fou: :heink: :colere: :??:
I restarted my PC 2-3 times, updated my driver using Driver Identifiew, still not working. Is it a problem of my WiFi card? :??:
It is not the router's problem, as I tried connecting with my other lappy, my Dell Inspiron 1440 (old) an it worked easily! :??:

Here is a screenshot:

So please help. I cant understand what the heck is gong on with my WiFi card.

Solution
"updated my driver using Driver Identifier"

You should never use third-party driver finding software to get the correct drivers unless you've got an obscure laptop or PC which has no web support or you don't know what make or model it is, none of which is true in your case..

Use the drivers direct from HP's website.

Other countries, just click link at bottom left of page.
