No suitable display resolutions after changing graphics card?

In short, I had problems with my external graphics card (which I purchased several years ago) so switched back to my internal one for a while. However, there were issues with the display in that none of the display resolutions were suitable. All stretched/skewed/enlarged.

However, I somehow managed to reset something or change some setting that reset it and gave me a normal display.

Now I changed my PSU I've switched back to the external card, and having the same problems I had when I switched to the internal one. However, I can't remember how I reset/changed the settings, or what I did to fix it.

Any ideas?

Have you installed the latest driver for the video card?

EDIT: Windows said the graphics driver was up to date, but I downloaded a new one published last month from the website and it seems to have fixed the issue.

Thank you.
