is there a way to have a game running on one screen with the desktop on another?

like the title said i am looking to have one game running in full screen mode whilst i have another 1 or 2 screens on the desktop where i can then browse the internet and other things. i am building a pc with an asus geforce gtx 770 if this helps.

I do it all the time, if a game supports borderless windowed mode i can move my mouse across at anytime I please. If the game does not support borderless it will sometimes work to drag my mouse off screen otherwise I have to use Windowed mode.

Hello... What will be your OS? Yes our video card and Windows have options to do this easily... Right click your desktop "Screen resolution" for multi-monitor settings.
