use both intel gpu and the dedicated gpu

hello everyone. exuse me for the bad english
i have been using laptops for a long time and this is my first gaming desktop build. in laptops the dedicated gpu wont be used till you throw heavy gpu applications on it like games ect. accet that it will use the igpu.
so is it the same thing in desktops ?!

If you have Virtu MVP and the motherboard supports it, you can set it to use the integrated graphics at idle. Otherwise, your discrete graphics is always used at idle or in games.

You need to enable the GPU (which is usually enabled by defualt when its drivers are installed) which'll turn off iGPU.
Well GPU is used almost all the time in desktops, but its load is usually 0-10% when browsing/ streaming/ idle. When gaming/ rendering/ graphics computing, its utilized to its strength.

i have the asus ranger does this MB have that option ?
