corsair case 230t or SPEC 02? your thoughts

Hey, I just wanted a opinion on the Corsair 230t and SPEC 02 cases. Which one should I get? I'm leaning towards the spec 02 case because it has more height elevation, thanks to its rubber feet, than the corsair 230t case. But the 230t case looks better and has one more fan.

I'm never a fan of case fans. You'll probably want to add some real good fans and maybe get rid of the case fans. I like the 230t.

would you think that the 230t would be able to run properly on my carpet? the carpet isn't too high like shaggy but it isn't to low like school carpet.

Either way, you should never have your computer on carpet. That's just asking to suck up all the dust in the carpet right into the case.

Glad to help. Suggestion. Put a wooden board under your computer. This will allow you to flip the PSU so it pulls in air from bottom and pushes it out the back.

I got the 230t case in orange and it looks great! only downside to it is the mushy on and restart buttons.

Nope, comes with two in the front and 1 in the back. I plan on putting a i5 4690k in there with either a r9 280 or x or maybe the 290. msi twin frozer to match my msi gaming motherboard

I love the Twin Frozr models. I had two of them before.

The 290 has come down in price, so has 280x. Both win win. If you are thinking 1440p gaming then get 290.
