Equipment connected to Asus Chromebox (PC):
2wire 3800 HGV-B Residential Gateway
Netgear N300 Wireless N Router (WNR2000v2)
Cisco VEN401 Wireless Access Point
Laptop:
Dell Inspiron 5100
Windows XP
Netgear WG511 wireless PC card (Wireless b/g protocol)
Configuration:
Netgear N300 connected behind 2wire RG
Cisco WAP connected into Netgear N300
Devices connected to wireless network:
XBox360 (Wireless adapter for xbox live, Not always connected, use it as needed)
Chromebox (PC, Not always connected, use it as needed)
LG smart TV
2 AT&T Uverse wireless receivers
Samsung Galaxy S2 (Not always connected, use it as needed)
Epson XP-410 Wireless Printer
Problem:
Laptop cannot even find the wireless network in question. All other devices can find and connect to said network.
I have set the router to 145MB (Or is it MBPS, don't remember) which is broadcasting in b/g/n and my laptop's wireless PC card supports b/g protocols. Not sure what is going on.
Also, I have not hidden the router's SSID so other devices can connect to it.
