Dismounted HDD Lost

I did an error check and dismounted the HDD. The whole process did it's thing but when restarted my HDD disappeared. I went to disk management and also on my computer but my HDD is not there anymore. Any help would be appreciated.

Lucky you it was not your "C" drive. Can you see the drive in the bios? Try to disconnect the drive data connection (with the system off) then restart, shut down, reconnect and restart. What tools did you use to error check and why did you do the check? Was there a report log? If so what did it say?
