I have an asus t101mt stander build (with 2 gb of ram added) but I have put Windows XP tablet on it to speed up it's rather lack luster power. When I reinstalled windows, I can't get it to recognize the graphics card. I (on previous install) have made my own program that recognizes all the drivers out for XP and installs them (via cab files) but this time I doesn't seem to work. I have also, found the driver separately online again, and reinstalled it but it still registers no graphic driver (diver not found). I was curious if anyone had seen this issue or figured out a fix.

Tablet operating systems do not have the correct support for PC hardware. You need to install an operating system intended for use with PC hardware such as graphics cards which will never be present in a tablet environment. Of course there are sometimes workarounds and hacks but inevitably you'll end up in a situation like your current inability to find a suitable driver for your mish mash of standards and hardware. If you can find something, great, but honestly it's not the best solution. A better option might be to find a copy of XPlite that is stripped down to minimal bloat and runs very fast.

I had actually installed this computer with xp tablet before and the driver worked correctly. It was after a reinstall that I can't get it to recognize the video card and am having this problem. It worked perfectly for over a year previous to this.

What was the reason for the reinstall? Perhaps the drivers won't work correctly due to the hardware component having issues. I've seen and been a part of much hair pulling trying to figure out why previously working drivers failed to install or work correctly and in almost all cases it turned out to be a faulty hardware component. Was the reason for the reinstall related to the graphics card or drivers? Have you run memtest or seatools to eliminate memory or hard drive as culprits?

It was (according to my wife) getting slower as she installed stuff on it. She wasn't having specific driver issues, but I honestly thought it was hardware. This actually happened to me on a windows 7 computer at about the same time and I was hoping it was something I overlooked. I'll run mem test as this isn't a dedicated graphics card (which I completely over looked, thank you by the way). Also, I think I'm going to remake the install disk and try it one last time before I pronounce time of death.
