I personally would go with the 4GB. The larger VRAM allows for better use of multiple panel setups more efficiently. If you only plan to use one panel, then the VRAM will help somewhat in games like Skyrim and Crysis 3 that utilize more VRAM if it is available.

If you're planning on running a SLI 760 system in the future, get the 4gb. If you're not, get the 2gb. If you're considering the 4gb as a single card, go look at the r9 280, which has 3gb and performs around the same as the gtx 760.

The 2GB will perform faster where as the 4GB model will give you more "room" in the RAM department. they are both 256bit cards but the 4GB model is spreading that 256bit out over 4 gigs of RAM where as the 2GB model is using the same 256 bit interface but it is only sharing it between 2 gigs instead of 4.

Okay, thanks, I was planing on buying another card later on so that i could sli. Why would the 4gb be better for sli then the two


I have an i5 4690k Cpu, 2x4gb 1600 ram, and Msi Z97 MB, 750w PS, and everything else if it makes a difference.

The more room aspect. The stronger the card(s), the more ram it can effectively utilize. You run 1 card, the card itself wouldn't be strong enough to fully utilize the 4gb, but when you throw a 2nd 4gb card in there, you'd be able to better utilize the ram and speed because it will be stronger and able to play with higher textures. You want that extra room for the higher textures.

If neither, then get the 2GB.
