Hi again Divxoxo,

Unfortunately I don't think there's a way to do that.

If you separate a drive from the volume set, you are going to lose data, as some of it is written on both physical drives. All I can suggest is for you to backup the whole spanned volume of 4 TB, replace your HDD of 1TB, rebuild a blank new spanned volume and restore the data. You could use the WD SmartWare software to do that:

I hope I've helped!
Best of luck!

Hello Divxoxo,

what exactly do you mean under "partition" in this case? Are your first 3TB and 1TB seperate hard drives, or are they both in a RAID or JBOD configuration?

Cheers!

Hi

I have 3TB hdd partition (ex E:/) and i added 1 tb Hdd to add more space and made a spanned partition with 2 disks and E:/ is now 4 TB and also full.

Now I want to separate both the hdd ie, 3 Tb and 1 Tb with out data loss.
