Is this RAM okay?

Solution
Give them a try, they are basically generic sticks that use Micron memory chips, many manufacturers use their chips....Appears to be 2 sets of 2 sticks though, if any problems getting them to play may simply need minor voltage or timings adjustments, if a problem give me a shout
If ya do enuff diggin, you will find that who we all "heard of" in press, adds and on store shelves is really immaterial.

Lenovo, HP, Toshiba, Sony, Apple..... none of them actually make a laptop.... they are all built in the same factories by brand names you never heard of..... Corsair doesn't make a single PSU..... etc etc

Micron OEMs to many of the brands you do know. Aslo, heard of Crucial ? Crucual is Micron's consumer sales outlet. the Micron stuff was originally meant for another vendor and they release excess stock.
