Hi, there, i just finished building my first rig and my problem is that i've made a mistake while choosing a case, as my case fans now are 3-pin male and all fan connections on the motherboard are 4-pin male. Can anyone give me an advise or a link where could I get 3-pin female to 4-pin female adapter?

Thanks

A 3 pin will plug into a 4 pin, you just won't have speed control.

seems to me the tab is ofset, so you know what side to plug it on.

I'll check.

His problem is his fans are male and his sockets are male.

here this adapter should work. its a spliter but that just means you can plug two fans into one socket. dont worry about both sides being 3 pin, it will still work with the 4 pin socket.

Any 3 pin fans are compatible with the headers on the motherboard, you will just lack speed control, but on asus boards you can control the speeds of them too

I have seen them before but they usually come with adapters to either 3 pin female or molex.

yes, but as I said, I have male and male on both sides, so I need a cable female-female 3pin to 4pin, or at least, as was mentioned above- 3pin to 3pin

The rating of it doesn't look good

1 good rating, 1 misunderstood rating, and 1 bad shipping rating.

That is 100% good with 1 review.

Only 1 plug can have a yellow RPM wire. the controller can only read 1 fan.

You have to read New Egg reviews, and salt them well.
