PC wouldn't turn on after sleep mode!

I left my PC in sleep mode the night.

When I tried to start it today, it wouldn't work!
I moved the mouse, then pressed a few keys & waited a few seconds.
Nothing was starting!

So I then tried pressing the power button on my keyboard, then the power button on my PC, then the reset button on my PC.
All that did nothing!

My monitor was working, but it was showing a blank.

I hen unplugged the power cable from the back & re-inserted it back. THAT WORKED.

Why did this happen? Was I supposed to start it differently?
Is there anyway to troubleshoot to know why this happened & if it can happen again?

What cable are you using to connect to your monitor? Also, did the pc turn on but display nothing or did it stay in sleep mode?

I was using HDMI cables & they were connected firmly.

When I turned the monitor on, it just displayed the message when there is nothing connected "display will automatically turn off in 10 minutes".

Try using a dvi or vga or DP cable. Also, make sure your GPU drivers are up to date.
