Hello, I recently bought an ATI radeon hd 7870 as an upgrade from an ASUS gtx 560. However when I installed it it does not display anything on any of the three monitors I tested.

I believe it is an issue with the drivers but when I attempted to use integrated graphics it displaye the windows logo with some strange purple lines and then lost signal.

So obviously the issue is that I can't get an image no matter what.
I have a gigabyte z68p-ds3 motherboard and an intel i7 2600k processor if that helps.

Thanks.

I think I would return the 7870. It sounds defective to me.
Without drivers, any card is supposed to run in a basic low res mode that is good enough for you to install the needed drivers.

Your integrated problem is probably because you do not have the integrated drivers installed or updated.

And... 7870 is not such a big improvement over your GTX560 that I fear you will be disappointed.

Is your power supply good enough to run the new card? Are you overclocking anything? Did you remove the card when you tested onboard video? If not, remove the Radeon card and then see if onboard is working agian.

That image issue sounds like an issue with the video card itself not the drivers. Maybe a motherboard issue since it happens with onboard video.
