Asus Z97-AR CPU LED on with the new 4690k installed. Does this mean a bad CPU?

Just picked up the Asus Z97-AR and the 4690k, after installing all my components, the CPU LED indicator light on the motherboard is on and I'm getting no display from either the videocard or the onboard video through the processor. Does this mean I got a bad processor?

Bios can be not updated.
Try to get older CPU temporary. If it will boot up - update bios using special *asus bios updater tool*.
