Hi! I have found two motherboards that seem to be identical and wanted a second opinion on witch I should get, I might do a little over clocking(maybe bump my i7 by .4) Thanks!

Motherboard Two: ASUS MAXIMUS VII HERO LGA 1150

Rest Of Specs!

Processor: Intel Core i7-4790K Processor (8M Cache, up to 4.40 GHz)

Fan: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120mm PWM Fan

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA 750G2

Ram: G.SKILL Sniper Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM

Graphics Card: Sapphire TRI-X AMD Radeon R9 290 OC 4GB GDDR5

Case: Cooler Master CM Storm Scout 2 ATX Mid Tower Gaming Case

Solution
The Maximus Gene is Micro ATX while the HERO is standard ATX. Both boards have identical features, only the form factor is different.

So it all depends on what form factor you want or what fits your case.

Also, the gene is older while the HERO is only 2 generations old. This doesn't really matter, though it is interesting.

Oh an also, do you think it would benefit me if I got a newer motherboard? Right now I'm not going to be doing to much over clocking but in the future I might. Thanks!
