Windows 8.1 Strange Symbols

Today I uninstalled a game which Was taking most of my space "Border Lands 2". Now when I did this I seen most of my files didn't have an icon.. so I presumed it was a glitch so I restarted my computer and I was greeted to strange symbols upon start up I cannot enter my password and I cannot enter my account via my Windows 8.1 Samsung Laptop. Please help. Thankyou.

Try the on screen keyboard at the login page. Not sure with Win8, but with Win7 if that onscreen keyboard is turned on. It's difficult to turn it back off.

Unfortuantly I cannot access my keyboard... as I have symbols representing letters.... and none have any meaning as its bringing me back to where I started only one I could find was a Slideon that I could drag down that changed the colors of my screen. thanks for the reply anyway though.

You will use your mouse to use the on screen keyboard At the login page where you will type in your password. On the bottom left corner, there is a ease of access. click on that to bring the on screen keyboard.

Its not functioning as its not coming up with anything when I click ease of access but strange sliders and buttons and when I click the buttons it comes up with an error message again with strange symbols.
