Hi. I've got a Sapphire 7870XT graphics card. I want to buy one more 7870XT and set up CF. But there is a question in my mind. My PSU is Cooler Master Thunder series 600W. Sapphire recommends 600W psu for CF. Is this PSU really enough for 7870XT CF?

My System:

AMD FX-6300
M5A97 R2.0
1 SSD
1 HDD
4GB RAM
4 fans

I've got one more question. My motherboard has got only one pci-e x16 slot. Second slot is x4. How can this problem descrease the performance of my PC?

My PSU's specs:

i dont think it will be sufficient for the crossfire the hd 7870 needs 24 amp so 24 x2 = 48amp and u dont have that .......and using pcie x4 will decrease your frame rates by 4-5 fps.....

i know that it needs 185W or about 15.5A. X2=31A or 370w.

It's not worth running Dual cards when the other PCIE lane is x4.

i won't change this PC throughout 3 years. And i want to play games in this period. If i sell this card i must buy GTX770 or something like that. I think it's very expensive. But 7870XT is much cheaper than GTX770.

7870XT is basically a 7950 and should do quite well gaming.

7870 is the old model of r9 270x u can always upgrade your card if gtx 770 looks costly then u can go for r9 280x they are similar in performance and will cost u much less than gtx 770.....
