Hi,

I'm not sure whether this is the correct forum to write this, but I'll just decide to do it regardless. If it is in the wrong place, I'm sorry - feel free to move it.

Anyway,
I have a problem. My headset's microphone broadcasts in-computer sounds and I've not been able to fix it on my own. It's why I've turned to smarter people than me, meaning I post this here. :)
Technical details will be posted at the bottom of the post.

In Skype, for instance, it can go quite loud. I managed to make it less loud (tested on "Listen to microphone" in the Properties) by disabling certain drivers. However, it is still very well noticeable.
It also happens if I detach my microphone entirely.

Here's a picture of how high it can (can get higher, too) get even when the microphone is detached. It's from Skype settings and the only audio was from YouTube, while my microphone was detached.
If you were wondering what language it is in the "dropdown bar", it is Finnish. :)

Things I have tried:
- Disabling unnecessary drivers
- Plugging it to different ports
- Detaching microphone
- Disabling/enabling addons or such in the Sound -> Speaker settings -> Properties
- Turning down volume (even from moderate levels)
- Restarting computer
- Different programs (TeamSpeak, Skype, etc)
- Google
- Having the latest drivers

The sounds that are played on the microphone are not the same as what I hear otherwise. They're basically static (you might say that static is always heard on headsets - what I mean are sounds similar to when you plug it in, for example). Those sounds are broadcasted no matter what I do, as long as there is sound which I can hear.

However, my voice or any sound broadcasted from the real life sounds normal.

Technical details:
- Operating System: Windows 7 64-bit
- Headset: Tritton Kunai (Xbox 360/PC) Headset
- Sound Card: Realtek High Definition Audio (I am guessing it is this?)
- Motherboard: Intel Z77

More details or info can be posted if needed.
It could be due to my headset (broken?) but I'll just ask you if you knew some other reason for it.

Thank you in advance. :)
