Hello,

it's normal to see decrease in performance because your laptop's display resolution is 1366 x 768 and the new monitor is 1920 x 1080. As the resolution on your new monitor is higher than the one of your laptop display, now your laptop needs to work much harder to be able to keep the same frame rate on a bigger display, and since you laptop isn't the most powerful one around it's going to struggle.

If you can return the monitor and get your money back it could be a good idea. If not you may consider reducing the quality setting in the game itself.
