Guys my monitor doesn't work

I bought the PC today with an LG monitor, connected it with d-sub cable and it's not working... What can i do? It displays '' No signal'' or something like that.

Let me ask... Are there 2 connections on the back of the computer for the monitor one on a add in card and one on the MB?

^^ hehe, like anonymous1 said, make sure you are plugging it into the video card or into the motherboards integrated graphics(whichever one you are using) Also, some monitors that have both a d-sub/vga port and a dvi port and a hdmi port.....they might require you to tap the menu buttons on the monitor itself to pick the input. I can't be sure if that is the case with your monitor.

If you gave a model for the monitor and gave a description of the pc it would help.

I said model. Brand and size doesn't make a model number. If you gave the model number that is located on the back of the monitor, then I could look it up on google and see what inputs it has.

Also, does the pc have a video card or integrated graphics or both?

1st question: The monitor is called lg 22M35
2nd: i don't know what do you mean my pc has AMD R7 260X 1GB
