5 months ago i bought the Zotac gtx 770 AMP, it had been really good, maxing out all games i own. About 2 months ago i noticed that the card emitted the following buzzing noise:

This noise didn't occur all the time, and would start up during gaming, sometimes loudly, and then die down after i quit the game. (But it ended up happening on a more common basis but didn't take any effect on the cards performance)

I managed to RMA this card as i pinpointed that it was something on the card itself doing it, but not the fans (As i had stopped the fans whilst it was happening and the noise persisted).

I have had my replacement card of the same type for about 1 month and the same noise is occurring in a much quieter form (I have probably noticed it earlier as i am very conscious of the noises my PC now makes). There is no effects to the performance of the card.

I was wondering, is this some form of coil whine? And should i just put up with it like some people do with the coil whine they get with their cards.

Corsair vs650, i know its low end. However, i had also read somewhere that buzzing noises may be created due to the larger power consumption by high end cards. Could this be anything to do with it?

Might be, should have enough power, but might be a little on the low side for output, the VS has 600 on the 12 volt, which should take care of it, do you have another or could you borrow a PSU that's 600 or better to try?

No i don't have any other to try. I was told when making the build, as i had multiple peoples advice on my selection of parts before i built it that the PSU should be fine for it.
