Hello,
I'm sure this thing has been beat to death, but I can't find a specific solution to my issue, and its probably something relatively simple.
I have three Dell U2414H monitors and an HD7870 video card. The monitors have a plethora of inputs; two HDMI, two displayport, one Mini DP. The video card has 2 Mini DP, 1 DVI, 1 HDMI. My initial hope was to take advantage of DP 1.2 and daisychain all three monitors using one MiniDP from the video card, but that was a complete failure.. I had a LOT of trouble. So now I'm back to connecting each monitor to the video card with a cord. So, I bought 2 MiniDP to HDMI cords and an HDMI to HDMI and hooked everything up andd... one monitor isn't getting a signal. Its recognized by Catalyst, but can't extend. My understanding was that 2 DP outs and 1 HDMI out would work without an adapter.. whats the problem here? Can someone detail to me how I need to hook these up per monitor?
Thanks!
Kris
