Hello

Sometimes my games are crashing to desktop some of them crash after 10-15 min of playing (stopped responding or crash without error). I have this problem for a long time. a month ago my computer also started to crash and sometimes I got BSOD (most of the time "memory management" bsod).

I updated the AMD drivers it didn't help. I run memtest86 for 9 hours and 0 errors were found. I cleaned the computer from dust it didn't help. I tried to update motherboard drivers but the problem continued.

for more then a year I had problems with my Hard Disk (i had to format the pc every few month because I couldn't start window ,I was getting hundreds of "bad lock" errors every day and many other problems). today I finally bought a new Hard Disk and installed new window and I thought that it will also fix the crash problems of the games and the pc but few min ago my computer crashed again while I was playing a game.

This is the error that I am getting after my computer crashes Event 41 kernel power - "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."

My computer specs:

Intel Core i5 3470 /1155 tray

Gigabyte GA P67 DS3 B3

8 GB RAM (4GBX2)

sapphire ATI radeon 7850 2GB D5

Seasonic PSU 430W

Seagate 1.0TB SATA 3 64mb (this is the hard disk that I bought today).

I bought the pc 2 years ago

please help

edit: at idle my GPU temp is 35-40C and the CPU temp is 30-37C (msi afterburner shows that I have 4 CPUs I don't know what that means).

at load the GPU temp is 55-70C (depends on the game) when I am playing games payday 2 its on 50C but when I play Battlefield the temp is 60-70C.

Solution
Seasonic PSU 430W is a very good supply but it can still bad. Problem is you will get a CPU reset any time any power regulator starts to fail. It can be inside the actual power supply or one of the regulators on the motherboard. It can also be caused by too much power being pulled from the PCI bus by a video card, when the supplemental power connection from the power supply to the video card don't provide proper power.

Most people replace the power supply because it is the cheapest and easiest thing to replace.
if you have not done so: blow out all the dust from your power supply and make sure its fan is still spinning. (in case it is a power supply overheating)

in this case if you can not find a reason for the reboot, (no...
What are your CPU and GPU temps like at idle and load? If you haven't already, you can use a monitoring program like HWMonitor to check them, and take a look at your PSU output also. On your +12V you should be getting something in the 11.4-12.6V range.

A Seasonic 430W can handle a 7850 with ease...IF it's working right. Based on anecdotal evidence, I think half the 7850s ever sold are being run on CX430s. Even with the Seasonic, overclocking it isn't a great idea, but at stock clocks no problem.

oh I forgot to mention my GPU and CPU temps. I am using MSI afterburner to check the temps.

at idle my GPU temp is 35-40C and the CPU temp is 30-37C (msi afterburner shows that I have 4 CPUs I don't know what that means).

at load the GPU temp is 55-70C (depends on the game) when I am playing games payday 2 its on 50C but when I play Battlefield the temp is 60-70C.
the CPUs temps on load are 60-65C but I don't remember exactly (I cant check now because I bought the new hard disk and didn't install most of the games yet).

HWMonitor will show you the voltage output on the rails.

can I send you the monitoring data?

the voltage of CPU is min: 0.866 V max: 1.131 V

GPU - min: 0.825 max: 1.210 V

motherboard

Voltage 0 1.04 Volts [0x57] (CPU VCORE)
Voltage 1 2.04 Volts [0xAA] (VIN1)
Voltage 2 3.00 Volts [0xFA] (+3.3V)
Voltage 3 4.96 Volts [0xF6] (+5V)
Voltage 5 -3.94 Volts [0x52] (-12V)
Voltage 6 -6.14 Volts [0x80] (-5V)
Voltage 7 2.84 Volts [0x8D] (+5V VCCH)
Voltage 8 1.62 Volts [0x87] (VBAT)

If you want, you can take a screenshot of it. Then go to www.imgur.com, register for an account then upload the screenshot. Once it's uploaded, on the right side of the screen, you'll see a box labeled something like "BBC Code for Forums" etc. Just copy the url below it and paste it into a post. You can use dropbox or some other online picture sharing application, but imgur works pretty good.

Event 41 kernel power
these errors are common when a system is rebooted while it is in a sleep mode.
Most often because the system does not wake up and a person pushes the power button twice.

You can also get this with a power failure. Check the power connection from the power supply to the supplemental power connection on the graphic card.
(disconnect and reconnect and make sure it is well connected or use another connector if your PSU has a second one)

I think its not the issue because I am getting this error only after my computer crashes with blue screen (sometimes just crashes and does restart). and its a critical error.

I will check the power connection maybe it causes the crashes.

if you are getting a bluescreen, you should put the memory .dmp file on a cloud server. It will contain the reason why the bugcheck code wall called.

i disconnect and reconnected the the power supply to the graphic card i havent got any blue screen yet but my games keep grashing.

my computer crashed again few minutes ago i found the MEMORY.dmp file but i dont understand what to do with it.

basically just copy the memory .dmp file somewhere on to a cloud server like mediafire, google docs, or sky drive (or whatever it is called now) and make sure the public has access rights to read the file. Someone can look at it with the windows debugger and see why windows called a bugcheck

i used google doc to upload the file but how are you going to open it?

note: overclocking your GPU can cause this problem
remove RTCore64.sys msi afterburner software (or kick up the fan and underclock the GPU)

you have WinDivert network packet capture and (re)injection driver". WinDivert.sys running also.
just FYI.

and your debug image does not work correctly in the debugger.
---------
basically your gpu is having issues and the driver is calling its own bugcheck code (unknown by windows)
I think it is caused by insufficient power applied to the external connector from the power supply directly to the GPU. I would disconnect the connection and reconnect it again, be sure it is tight and not using a funky cheap power connector adapter. if your GPU card has more than one connector then make sure both are connected.
also, if your card require two external connectors make sure you use two separate leads from the power supply rather than splitting one lead with a adapter.

from what i have gathered usually a 41 kernel power event is a result of a failing power supply which would explain why you have crashing errors upon playing games causing your GPU to work harder and consume more power. Recommend replacing your power supply. could be just bad power from the outlet and it fluctuates to much so an UPS might be your best bet as well. Let me know if that helps. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2028504 this is the link where i got my info from.

You will get this error code in the event log when ever your machine is rebooted without doing a normal shutdown /restart. for, example you hit the reset button on your case or your unplug your machine from the wall.

The GPU has one connector and i am using only one external connection for the monitor and i never overclock the gpu. i remember that i got some error with the RTCore64.sys file few weeks ago i deleted it yesterday.

i need to note something importent few days ago i went to power options in the control pannel and i found out that my computer was on "power saver" mode. then i changed it to "high performance" mode and the games stopped to crash. yesterday i changed to the balanced mode and most of the games dont crash but few games crashed again.

also when i move the computer a little bit my monitor goes black for few sec but everything is connected tight.
