Intel Z87 Haswell Refresh CPU's

I decided to build a PC and it went pretty good but I noticed there was a message at the bottom of the page.

It said "Some Intel Z87 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Haswell Refresh CPUs."

Could anyone explain to me what it means or what am I doing wrong?

Yes. Intel released so,e Haswell Refreshed CPU this years. Like the i7-4790K is a Devil Canyon.

Anyways if you don't want to perform a BIOS update, then get a Z97 Series motherboard.

basically you have a z97 chipset, and your board is a z87, basically if you stuck with this build, you'll need to do a BIOS update, which can be tricky, my recommendation to you would be to get a h97 board, that way, it'll work out the box
