Hey everyone!
So I have this weird problem with USB 3.0 on my MSI G45-Z87. All the events I'm going to describe happened within a week. The other day, I started my computer, everything was running just fine, until I logged into my account (using win 7). That's when my keyboard's LED were flashing and the mouse wasn't working at all. I tried every usb 3.0 ports without success, same goes for the USB 2.0 ports on the back of the motherboard. The only ones working were the front panel USB 2.0. I then re-installed my intel USB 3.0 drivers and the issue was solved.
The day right after, same thing happens. I try re-installing drivers again, but the installation always fails. After 5 attempts, I finally was able to install them and get the USB 3.0 to work, though when I plugged my keyboard back in, it took a good 10 seconds for it to light up and start working.
Today, when I was using my computer, my computer shut down randomly. I then booted it back up and again, devices were not working. Now for the weirdest: If my mouse is plugged alone in the USB 3.0, it works no problem. As soon as I plug in my keyboard, my mouse would stop working. After leaving it plugged for about 10-15 seconds, it lit up and was working again.
My question is: Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this? I thought it was only a driver problem, but I'm starting to think maybe the motherboard itself has its problems... Anyway, help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you:),
-Phil

That's great! Let me know the results, I'm really curious about all this... Anyway, the USB 3.0 problems seem to have stopped with the bios flash, for now at least! I hope it will fix it permanently.
