I bought a used GeForce GTX 570 HD[http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/61SP-cGDMdL._SL1500_.jpg], when I bought it I had already felt dumb for buying it. Anyway, of course the card doesn't work... at least I don't think so. I spent 80 bucks on this thing, so I won't have lost too much money.
Here's a thing to note, I am, somewhat, new to computer gaming, I bought a low-ish quality desktop [http://www.asus.com/Desktops/CM1855/] CM1855, AMD FX 4300, 8 Gigs of RAM, the usual for a mid level PC, [wow runs at 40-70 on hi/med levels].
The Problem I have is, when I plug in the card, I do have a 700 watt and the required 6 pin connectors for the power, it just strait up doesn't display... Am I supposed to display from the MB first and install the files for the driver? Or is it just supposed to display from the card right away? I'm ready to lose the money, I just need to know more about this stuff before I waste more money...
Thanks for your time and help!

Hello,

The GPU should work the moment you turn on your PC. Drivers are only for the operating system.

Make sure the GPU is sitting well in the PCIe slot and that all the power connectors are properly plugged in.

Thanks! I knew it was something with the card. It would be safe to say that something with the card isn't working, I just needed to know if there was anything else I could do to make sure if I could use it before I take it back.
