every time i try to play mw3 on my ps3 it just says searching for players and i can leave it there for hours and it still wont

Please help me find out why everytime I play mw3 online it just says searching for
Players even if it sits there for hours and I don't get it because I can play gta 5 and minecraft online.

My guess would be because not many people are playing that game anymore, most people are on BO2 or whatever new COD there is, sorry, stopped playing cod after MW2. If there's no one playing then there's no one to connect with. I recommend going into a private game with your friends, much more fun.
