Ive got the AMD A10-6800k. And with the turbo boost, the voltage stays at 1.365(4.3GHz), and its running really hot when playing games, so i disabled turbo boost, overclocked it to 4.7GHz and put the voltage to 1.2875 and it runs alot cooler now, and its not throttling itself at all.
Whys this?
BUT, now it seems to constantly be running at 4.7GHz and not idling at all?
Please help!

that is because you decreased the voltage... cpu's heat up while overclocking due to increase in voltage ...
voltage increases to give the energy needed for running at the overclocked speed
could you specify your heat

With the turbo boost, it runs at 75c+. With my own OC and voltage, it runs well below 65c. I am using a CoolerMaster Hyper TX3 Evo.
Whilst playing an intense game.
