hey guys . I got a gigabyte x58a-ud3r socket 1366..
I got 9 gb total memory dims are as follows
ddr3_2 ------- 1gb stick 1600mhz
ddr3_1 ------- 2gb stick 1600mhz
ddr3_4 ------- 1gb stick 1600mhz
ddr3_3 ------- 2gb stick 1600mhz
ddr3_6 ------- 1gb stick 1600mhz
ddr3_5 ------- 2gb stick 1600mhz

now I was told this isn't triple channel cause the not all same size/speed ?
they are all same brand / speed ....just diff size in gb
is this correct or should I use the 2gb sticks in dims
ddr3_2
ddr3_4
ddr3_6 or

ddr3_1
ddr3_3
ddr3_5

you guys follow so far.. or can I just use the whole 9 , and if so would it be in triple channel or just
use the 2gb sticks , like I mentioned above and have 6gb total. and would that be triple channel.
hope this makes sense to you guys ...thanks for any support

Solution
Check in CPU-Z - in the memory tab, believe your mobo supports flex and should be in Tri channel (the channel #) tab, you have 3GB in each channel which is the determining factor with flex - an equal amount in each channel
