This is for my friend who wants a gaming computer and start a youtube channel. He is also an audiophile. He will do some editing and rendering and plays game like days, watch dogs, and bf4 and other AAA titles.
Any criticism is helpful
Also should he wait for braodwell and gtx 8 series?

Splendid
Looks good. A few points...

-1000w PSU is fine, but you might want more headroom, especially if ur pushing the system hard for long periods.
-If colour reproduction (essential for good image/video publication) is important, there are far better monitors available.
-For a beast like this, consider a custom built water system.

Here is my personal recommendation. I think the 295s2 will be better, especially if he wants a 4k setup. Also the SSD isn't needed in a RAID array. Also, air cooling will be more than enough for this build. All in all, this will be a very solid build for anything he needs to do.

thought about custom water cooling, but it didnt seem worth it. paying a lot money and putting your build in danger just to drop a couple degrees doesnt seem worth it to me.

could you please suggest a better 1440p monitor?

idk if i really need more since in pcpartpicker it says the build uses 817w

1. I'd lose the WD Blacks and get these for storing the files .... why ? .... see link below
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178379

HD Charts - http://www.tomshardware.com/charts/hdd-charts-2013/-17-PCMark-7-Gaming,2915.html

Gaming - Seagate SSHD = 9.76 / WD Black = 6.34 (54 % faster)
Application Loading - Seagate SSHD = 17.25 / WD Black = 4.30 (400 % faster)
Video Editing - - Seagate SSHD = 21.56 / WD Black = 19.88 (6 % faster)

2. Lose the PSU, RM has poor quality caps and 1000 watts is oversized.... Two 780 Ti's overclocked about 20% with a 4930k will work just fine on an 850 ... but 1000 won't hurt anything unless it's a cheap PSU ....

Best
Seasonic X-1050 or 850

Hair short of above (similar performance, slightly less build quality
Seasonic M12
Corsair AX
EVGA SuperNova G2

3. Case is nice....for a $1500 build .... but at $5k, this is as low as I'd go
Phanteks Enthoo Luxe - Blac kor White is $150 - Great air cooling or mid level water cooling build.

4. I consider Windows Professional

5. I'm torn between IPS for the rendering an TN for the gaming
-RoG Swift w/ Gync, 144 Hz, 3D, 8 bit color is incredible for gaming ... has turned the gaming world on its ear
-Look at some of these

6. Not the 780 Ti I'd pick, especially if doing "work" on it.

MSI - 9.9 rating / 30 dbA Fan Noise

EVGA - 9.5 rating / 35 dbA Fan Noise

I'd put more faith in custom water cooling than say any Corsair / Asetek AIO. The Swiftech unit is a nice compromise in between. Water cooling is done as much for noise reduction as it is for performance. Water cooling GFX cards helps a lot in noise and runs the cards at 40C instead of 80s. VRMs drop from close to 100C to mid 50s.

That system will pull roughly 825 watts from the wall under stress testing ... that means it's putting out about 740 watts .... so a quality 750 theoretically would work but.... even great capacitors age and reduce output so by 4-5 years you'd want the cushion from the 850. But to save $20...the 1050 will run cooler and be more efficient.

See above .... there is no best for everything ..... The RoG Swift stands unique in the gaming world.... nothing else even comes close..... consider 2560 x 1080 as well as 2560 x 1440 IPS.
