As a long time PC gamer, I decided I wanted to get an Xbox One for the living room. It's on the way, but when looking at my cable box I see its a bit shabby. It doesnt seem to have an HDMI port on the back, though there is an exposed VGA port there.

That is the best picture of the back I could find.

So I was wondering if there was ANY way to pass my cable into my Xbox One and how I would go about doing it. Could I get a VGA to HDMI adapter, and then HDMI cord into Xbox One? Or an RGB to HDMI thing, I really have no idea with this cable stuff.

Its Comcast by the way, which im pretty dang sure Xbox is supporting.

Oh and one more thing, I heard there was a fee for using TV with xbox one... is this true? Thanks

If you were to use a VGA to HDMI you would lose image quality and I'm pretty sure VGA does not carry sound.
Also, there is no fee since you are using your own cable box

No, there is no fee that you can pay to get cable on your xbone, you have to use your own cable box. No fees at all to watch TV on it
