I'm trying to use my Samsung TV as an external monitor for my Acer c720 Chromebook. The TV when I try to get to the correct input (HDMI/DVI) it flashes quickly between it being enabled and not enabled. I have to make sure it's not connected to the Chromebook before I select it and plug it in.

Then when I do have it connected the audio and video play from the TV, but the TV never stops saying that there's no signal.

Other devices work on that port and I've managed to get the Chromebook to display from another Magnavox TV, so I believe there's something wrong with this set-up.
