Win 8.1 Re-install required with cpu swap?

I've never had an issue in the past with XP or 7 in regards to swapping cpu only but I thought I'd ask since win 8 has bios contingent keys.... Can I swap my cpu in this case an fx-4100 with an 8530 without a re install. I'm not worried about hardware, everything compatible, strictly speaking OS, its just a cpu swap not a MOBO

Good to hear, figured I'd ask first before i found myself having to re install an plan out a few hours. I know windows 8 is a bit more specific when it come to hardware changes and you licence . Looking forward to the new CPU as I think my Hd 7950 was being bottlenecked by the Fx-4100
