This may be the wrong section, but I couldn't find anywhere else and it goes along with displays. I've been looking around for a desk that isn't over $200 that is capable of fitting 3 24 inch monitors, surprisingly it's hard or at least for myself. Any suggestions are appreciated, and thank-you in advanced.

It isn't really that hard. Just take the weight of three of the monitors you will be using and add in a few pounds for the stand and all the other stuff that will be on the desk. If you go to a brick and mortar store, the desks will normally have a maximum weight listed. Just stay under that value.

Personally, I have 3 x 23" Dell U2311 IPS monitors on a metal and glass desk that I found at Staples. It supports up to 80 pounds, and all of my monitors, speakers, etc, come in at a little less than 60 pounds (including a lamp and a scanner), so it is still pretty solid. I usually stick with desks in the $100 to $200 range that have a metal frame.

My father has a cheap desk from Ikea that is made out of fiberboard. It says that it will...

My father has a cheap desk from Ikea that is made out of fiberboard. It says that it will hold 60 pounds, but his PC and one monitor are only about 30 and it wobbles a bit under the weight. Ikea also carries some okay desks, but the one my father purchased gets all of its strength from the 1/8 inch backing board that is held in with lots of little finishing nails (just over an inch long).

From my opinion, try for a desk that has a metal frame. You can get one with a glass surface, just check the maximum weight rating if at all possible.

If there is a Staples, Microcenter, Frys, Office Max, or Office Depot nearby - you should drop in and check some of those desks out.

BTW: 3 monitors are pretty wide - my ones stick out on the left side (because of how the keyboard area is placed). You may need an extra wide desk or corner desk if you don't want that to happen.
