My ENTIRE computer is painted and my ENTIRE PSU is also painted.

I tried to follow other threads for the last 2 hours but every time they got to the part where they mentioned "everything is painted" people just completely ignored/ did not address that statement.

So i decided to just ask...

UPDATE: could i just use a Test-light, use the aligator clip and tape the screwdriver-looking part to my leg/arm??

For those of you saying to "Just touch the PSU", WHERE?? do i just touch anything? Even if it's made of plastic and a part of the PSU? Can i touch the fan cage even though it's painted? I am looking for exact, to-the letter answer for this. IDIOT PROOF answers. :)

Since i know wall outlet plugs have the 2 prong fork at the end, Can i just touch THAT (even if it's not connected to anything) since it's made of metal??

I need to know because where i live, I get shocked just by moving an inch and touching a paperclip. Thanks.

Solution
Surely the PCI card backplates aren't painted? Or the internal hard drive casing ?

No need to use an ESD wrist strap either, I've never used one and never had reason to regret not using one.
Just touch one of the items I've suggested above, then proceed to install the component.
