For gaming,yes.
For editing,no.An i7 would be a better choice.
Would you like to overclock your CPU in the future?
Tell me that and I will make another build. ;)

This i5 build can run pretty much every game at high-ultra @ 50+ FPS. ;)
Do you need a copy of Windows?

Depending on how much video editing/rendering and photoshopping you do, the i5 maybe enough.

Also as a side note, the build's motherboard isn't available in the UK.

Its a similar build to what's above. If you're unsure about overclocking, figure out if you want to mess around with that feature in the future or not. If you don't, then getting a locked processor will reduce the price and open up more options in the future.

Went with cheaper ram, doesn't change the performance too much.

I switched the motherboard to something available and able to overclock, assuming you are going to stick with the overclocking option.

Went with a slightly cheaper graphics card. If the 5 gbp doesn't matter too much, then you can go back to the sapphire one.

Went with a much cheaper PSU and just as effective. No doubt it's overkill, but for it's price, you can't really say it's a bad thing.

Picked a case that actually has a price.

Removed windows since you already have it.

I can make you a couple of builds:
1. With an i5 4690 and an R9 280X for around 700 pounds
2. With an i7 4790 and an R9 280X for around 750 pounds
3. With an i7 4790 and an R9 280 for around 715 pounds and
4. With an i7 4790 and an R9 270X 2GB/4GB for 670/700 pounds (670 pounds for the R9 270X 2GB,700 quid for the 4GB).
Which one do you want?

Didn't notice that some parts are missing also I'd like a stylish case and wouldn't 750W be too much?
