I am trying to instal 64 bit W8 on a new UEFI motherboard using a recently purchased Seagate 1 TB disk which I reformatted to NTFS ..
However I get an error message "On EFI systems Windows can only be installed to GPT disks"
Presumably my reformatting removed the GPT settings of the disk?
How do I restore the GPT setting? It would be cheaper to buy another disk than to take the OC to a dealer!
