I am building a gaming computer and I'm not sure how much power supply im gonna need to buy:

PROCESSOR: CPU Desktop Intel Core i3-4150, 3.50GHz ( Haswell )
MOTHERBOARD: Intel® H81 Chipset
RAM: 4GB DDR3 1333MHz, PC6400
GRAPHICS CARD : AMD Radeon R9 280 3GB DDR5, DX11
HARD DISK : 500GB 7200.12 3.5"

500 watts is plenty but do yourself a favor and dont buy the cheapest power supply you can find if you want that pc to last i suggest XFX or seasonic.

IDK who told you corsair makes the best power supplys but they most certinatly do not in fact the best corsair power supplys are made by seasonic like the HX and AX series.

I would get something off of tier 2 or 1 from this list: http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-1804779/power-su...
