Seagate external lost drive letter
Yesterday I was backing up my laptop because the seagate hard drive is failing. I was backing up to my seagate external which I have used to store things so many times, it has very important information on it. I used Active Boot disk for this and everything went fine it verified the backup was good.
Then I saw clone and clicked it to see what it was, nothing I wanted so closed it.
Then last night I wanted something off it and when I plugged it in and windows explorer wasn't showing it there. It is showing in device manager okay. But in disk management it's there but showing unallocated.
How can I get it to show a drive letter so I can use it without losing all that information. I cannot afford to lose any of it. I unplugged it rebooted plugged it in several times.
Can anyone help me please?
