So heres the thing; I finally have a dual monitor setup but the problem is that when i try to play CS GO (800x600) and watch a stream on the second monitor, but screen on my second monitor messes up as soon as I go into fullscreen on my main monitor.

I need to play the game on 800x600 but when I play in Windowed mode it changes that resolution...

Anyone know what to do here?

Solution

Resolution of the second monitor is irrelevant. Solution is simple, set your CS:GO to the native res of your monitor. Or as close as possible. Then your screens will stay the same when you play the game. What happens is, with your res set to 800x600 in game, if your native rs is higher than that, it pushes everything to the side (or the other monitor) when the game starts. This is why it looks like your second monitor is screwed up. Just set your game res to the Native Res of the monitor, and it should be fine.

I fix'd this problem just by going into resolutions settings (right clicking on windows screen) and putting your primary monitor (1) to the right and your second (2) to the left so you are dragging your tabs out of windows to the left of the screen, simple as that, if u can understand what i am saying (you can drag the screens that says (1) and (2) on them)
