Hi,

I'm currently using a headset that has two separate jacks--one for line in (microphone) and one line out (audio)--but I have only the microphone jack plugged in so I'm able to use the mic for ventrilo while having the audio come out through the speakers on my desk.

If I switch to a headset that uses a usb connector, is there a way for me to set it up so that I'm able to use the headset's microphone while having the audio come out of my speakers instead of the headset?

Edit: I know it's a weird question and you're prolly thinking why I don't just get a separate microphone. I have my reasons. :)

Don't exactly know that but why when you have a pc with a good soundcard two plugs are better than usb headsets.
