Laptop speakers pop randomly

My left laptop speaker emits a quiet but annoyingly audible popping sound when I load up webpages and browse through them. In particular, I noticed that this seems to happen about a second after a webpage fully loads but it also happens more randomly too, whilst scrolling around pages and moving my cursor around. This is regardless of web browser used and happens even when the sound is muted. I have tried adjusting the sound mixer too, to no avail. I have also tried switching off mobile phone and moving to places where there is less interference but it is still there.

I think this also happens occasionally when I'm not on the web browser.

The speakers work fine but this random pop is quite annoying.

This is a new laptop, any suggestions to get rid of this would be really appreciated.

I have checked and I think the pop can just about be heard coming through the headphones - it's ever so quiet. Still the left side.

More about the 'pop': it often (but not always) happens before sound is played. But as originally described, this is also happening when sound is not played or when speakers are muted. It sometimes happens when sound stops, sometimes happens when scrolling down.
